HILLHEAD 2018

Tarmac’s Hillhead Quarry, near Buxton, Derbyshire, hosted the world’s biggest working quarry exhibition. From 26-28 June, Hillhead welcomed more than 500 UK and overseas suppliers of plant, equipment, materials and services, many of them using the show as a platform for the launch of their latest products.

C.SCOPE were at Hillhead 2018 on STAND RC31. As always it was a terrific show and we were delighted to meet up with existing and new customers.

C.SCOPE showcased British manufacturing at its best. With 40 years’ expertise in the manufacturing of underground location equipment, C.SCOPE displayed a range of cable detection equipment that should be used before any excavation work to protect against the risk of pipe and cable strikes. C.SCOPE had the full range of XL4 Cable Avoidance Tools and Signal Generators as well as a range of Tracers, Sondes and other ancillary pipe and cable detection equipment.

HAUC Harrogate

CSCOPE will be attending HAUC@Harrogate. The North of England’s Premier Street & Road Works Event will be held on Thursday 7 June (9.00am – 3.00pm) at The Great Yorkshire Showground.

There will be a series of presentations and roundtable discussions focussing on Street Manager at the optional seminar session which starts at 11.00am. You do not need to pre-book to attend the session as places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis on the day.

C.Scope at IFAT, Munich 14th – 21st May 2018

CSCOPE will again be exhibiting at IFAT in Munich between 14 – 21 May 2018.

IFAT is the World’s biggest Trade Fair for Water, Sewage, Waste and Raw Materials Management.

We have attended the show for a number of years now and if you are in this line of business then the show is definitely worth a look.

Spanning an exhibition space of over 230,000 square meters, 3097 exhibitors from 59 countries attended IFAT 2016 to showcase their products, innovations, and services. 45 percent of the fair’s exhibitors were International.

Network Rail Approved

C.Scope’s recently launched CXL4 and DXL4 Cable Avoidance Tools, SGV4 Signal Generator, MXL4 Pipe & Cable Locator and MXT4 Transmitter have all gained full product acceptance from Network Rail. This Network Rail Approval authorises the use of these products on railway infrastructure for which Network Rail is the Infrastructure Manager under the ROGS regulations.

Construction or maintenance work on the UK rail infrastructure is highly safety-critical, therefore Network Rail are very careful to ensure that only products that have undergone, and passed, their own very thorough performance and safety tests are approved for use on their sites.

All of these new products (as listed below) can now be used in and around the UK’s rail infrastructure in line with Network Rail’s Certificate of Acceptance.

This approval allows Network Rail staff, agents and contractors working on Network Rail land to use the latest C.Scope products to detect buried pipes and cables quickly, effectively and safely.
